As a musical instruments manufacturer, Zildjian is constantly looking to develop quality instruments and accessories that you want. The Information We Collect and How We Use It
Zildjian will not collect any personally-identifiable information about you, such as your name, address, telephone number or email address (“Personal Information”) through its web sites unless you provide it to us yourself. Without limiting the above, in an effort to respect your privacy, Zildjian will not otherwise disclose your personal information to law enforcement or other government officials without a subpoena, court order or substantially similar legal procedure, except when we believe in good faith that the disclosure of information is necessary to: prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss; or report suspected illegal activity. Protection of Children's Personal Information
Zildjian is committed to protecting the online privacy of children and making the Internet safe. It is our policy to not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 except with express permission from one of their parents or their guardian. We encourage parents/guardians of children under 13 to regularly check and monitor their children's use of email and other activities online.
In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, all visitors: a) who identify themselves as under 13 years of age (or Zildjian has reason to believe may be under 13 years of age because the particular portion of the site that visitor accesses is intended for children under 13) and b) who provide Personal Information in order to enter a contest or sweepstakes or receive information from Zildjian, will also be required to provide the email address of their parent or guardian. Zildjian will send a notification to that email address informing the parent or guardian that their child has provided Personal Information to Zildjian. The notification provides the parent or guardian with instructions on how to review and delete information collected from his/her child. Manage Your Personal Information; Unsubscribe
Zildjian offers you the ability to automatically review and change the information you submit to us by logging into the Site and entering in the new information yourself. Generally, we will not modify your personal information based on your request because it is very difficult to authenticate your account manually. You can change your User Id, email address, contact information and user preferences by accessing the preferences and setup section of the Site. You must promptly update your personal information if it changes or is inaccurate. Once posted, you may not be able to change or remove any public postings made on the Site including our chat rooms or other message areas.
Upon your request, we will deactivate your account and all associated information from our active databases. Such information will be deactivated as soon as reasonably possible based on your account activity and in accordance with our deactivation policy and applicable law.
Zildjian will retain in our files some personal information you have requested to remove to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our User Agreement and comply with legal requirements as is permitted by law.
